What temperature should freezers and refrigerators be kept at?
Requirements vary by market. Codex guidance and most industry standards hold frozen food at -18°C or below, while chilled food is typically held below 7-10°C depending on local rules. In Taiwan, the Regulations on Good Hygiene Practice for Food require frozen food to be kept below -18°C and chilled food below 7°C and above its freezing point, with a temperature indicator installed and readings recorded. Yes. The system automatically retains the full temperature history for every monitoring point. Records can be searched by date and site and exported as reports, removing the gaps and retrospective entries that come with paper logs.
